Pickup location and Departure Time
The land tour departs daily, we pick up from resorts and hotels in Kona, Waikoloa, and Kohala areas. Please refer to the individual tour page for pickup times. Helicopter tours depart throughout the day. Transportation is not included for helicopter tours.
What to bring and wear
Wear comfortable clothing in layers as temperatures vary from warm to cool. Covered walking shoes are required. Please wear dark-colored clothing for helicopter tours to reduce glare.

Can I do this combo tour in one day?
A: No, this combo tour needs to be reserved over two different days in no particular order. However, it’s possible to book a private circle island or twilight volcano tour and add a one hour helicopter flight to the tour.
Are we going to see lava?
A: Being in the air is your best chance to see flowing lava but no particular sight can be guaranteed. Routes and times vary with wind and weather, and volcanic activity changes hourly.
Does the tour run rain and shine?
A: Our land tour will operate rain and shine. Helicopter tour may be cancelled due to inclement weather. We will notify you as soon as possible if the tour is cancelled.
