This full-day adventure begins with driving through the scenic Hamakua Coast before arriving at Skyline Akaka Falls. Experience 7 incredible ziplines that pass above jaw-dropping scenery, along unrivaled spans, including the only zipline in Hawaii that soars over a 250’ waterfall! Enjoy a picnic-style lunch and swim at privately owned Kawainui Falls. Explore the wonders of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, including steam vents, Chain of Craters Road, Halema’uma’u Lookout and Kilauea Iki crater lookouts. Enjoy a sit-down dinner at Lava Rock Cafe before returning back to the hotel.
Pick up location and Departure Time
Tour departs Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, we pick up from resorts and hotels in Kona, Waikoloa, and Kohala area between 8 am to 9 am depending on pick up location and sunset time. The tour lasts around 13 hours.
What to bring and wear
Wear comfortable clothing in layers as temperatures vary from warm to cool. Covered walking shoes are required.

Included in the tour
Gourmet lunch with assorted juices, snacks, and bottled water, and sit-down dinner at a café near Volcanoes National Park. In addition, park entrance fee, jackets, and rain gear.
All participants MUST weigh between 80-260 lbs and be 10 years or older. This helps us regulate the speed of each customer, and has nothing to do with the strength of our gear. Customers MUST be physically able to hike 1 mile over uneven terrain. No pregnant customers or anyone with serious neck, back, or joint injuries or chronic heart problems.
Can I do this combo tour in separate days?
A: No, this combo tour takes place over one day only. You will participate in zipline activity in the morning and visit other attractions in the afternoon.
Will we get to see active lava?
A: Due to the dynamic nature of active volcanoes, lava viewing conditions change daily or even hourly. The best viewing of current eruptive activity is on our Twilight Volcano Tour. We will do our best to get you to the closest viewing area providing it is safe and legal.
Does the tour run rain and shine?
A: Tours operate rain or shine. In the event of a cancellation due to high winds or heavy rain, we will make every effort to contact customers as soon as possible to either reschedule or refund the tour.
