Please inform us when booking if you have special dietary needs. We will do our best to provide options, but for very specific or severe restrictions, we recommend also bringing personal snacks or meals.

All tours involve some walking on uneven terrain. Our vehicles cannot accommodate wheelchairs, scooters, or walkers. Please notify us if you use mobility devices such as a cane so we can best prepare.

Seats in our Mercedes Sprinter vans measure about 17–18 inches wide. If you feel one seat may not provide enough space, we recommend purchasing an additional seat for comfort. Please contact us with any concerns.

There are no restrooms in the van. Our guides plan stops at restroom facilities along the way, typically about once an hour.

Some tours involve winding roads or higher elevations, which may cause motion sickness. We recommend adopting preventative measures like medication or motion bands. Our guides also carry remedies such as ginger candies to help alleviate symptoms.

No. Drones are not permitted on our tours due to regulations, safety, and respect for cultural and natural sites.

Contact us right away. We’ll try to recover your item and can mail it back at your expense. However, we are not responsible for lost belongings, so please keep valuables with you.

Let us know ahead of time! Whether it’s a birthday, honeymoon, or anniversary, we’d love to help add memorable touches to your tour.

Closed-toed shoes are required. We also recommend dressing in layers, as temperatures can shift from warm to cool depending on the location.

Dinner on the Twilight Volcano Tour is served at either Lava Rock Café or Kilauea Lodge. Most dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.

Our Circle Island Tour usually operates daily. The Twilight Volcano and Stargazing Tour usually operates five to six days a week. Big Island Waterfall Adventure operates two to three days a week except on Sundays, and the Historic Kona & Coffee Tour operates one to two days a week except on the weekends. Please check the individual tour’s booking calendar for live availabilities.

We highly recommend booking your tour in advance. Some of our more popular tours sell out days in advance, and some only operate on demand. Booking early ensures the best chance of securing your preferred dates.

We can provide custom tailored tours for private groups or run any of our existing tours as a private group. Please call our office at 808-238-5222 or email us for more info on private tours and rates.

Due to the dynamic nature of active volcanoes, lava viewing conditions change daily or even hourly. The best viewing of current eruptive activity is on our Twilight Volcano Tour. We will do our best to get you to the closest viewing area providing it is safe and legal. Please call us for most up to date information.
